Lewis Center for the Arts is planning to appoint the university's first Director of Dance, at a rank appropriate to the chosen candidate. The ideal candidate will have an ongoing career as a dancer/choreographer/scholar. Studio courses at Princeton embody kinesthetic, creative and cognitive approaches to dance by emphasizing technique and repertory along with dance composition and writing about dance; the ideal candidates will be comfortable in all three areas.
